Gobbler's Bend walking sticks are selected from scrub oaks, cypress, maple, and other oak trees from managed lands.  Our walking sticks displayed with typical models in our products catalog.  We offer unfinished sticks in maple, oak, cypress which have the knots and limbs removed with the bark remaining.  Others have a wax finish, polyurethane satin finish, or varnished.  Each finished stick is unique and will have the unique "Gobblers Bend" trade mark branded into the wood.  Finished sticks are drilled with a hole and have a leather hanging strap.

• Each finished hiking/walking stick is cut, branches removed, the bark is then removed.  The stick is then dried, sanded to a smooth or semi smooth finish waxed, varnished, or sealed. Each pole is drilled and fitted with a leather strap for a secure grip and branded with the Gobbler's Bend unique brand.  Any hiking pole, staff, or cane that you select will be uniquely different from all others the crooks and bends make each one truly unique.
